About Baile Beag
Based in the leafy suburbs of Omeath, Co Louth, Bailie Beag is conveniently located between Belfast and Dublin along the Carlingford coastline in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Originally, the site was built by Robert Walker Greer, a local landowner and it was originally called Ballyoonan House and operated as a grand mansion.
In 1994, the Tain Holiday Village was developed which provided an exciting holiday destination for guests who flooded from all over Ireland, both North and South of the border. Hence the name of our on-site café An Tain Café/Bar.
